    In Reverent Remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother

    The Treasury Department, in collaboration with Siam Paragon and Sakul Intakul, presents the “Sirikasapanasilp” Exhibition, showcasing the royal legacy and the value of Thailand’s cultural heritage through commemorative coins and contemporary fine craftsmanship.

    The Treasury Department, together with Siam Paragon and independent artist Sakul Intakul, pays tribute to the boundless royal grace of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The exhibition combines commemorative coins and medals produced by the Treasury Department with contemporary fine art, connecting history, collective memory, and high art through a rare and valuable display of coins and contemporary craftsmanship under the title “Sirikasapanasilp.”

    Held from today until 12 August 2026 at Art Jewel, 5th Floor, Siam Paragon, the exhibition aims to promote knowledge and appreciation of Thai coin collecting, both domestically and internationally.

    The exhibition officially opened on 28 July 2026, attended by Akruttom Sonthayanon, Director-General of the Treasury Department, along with Treasury Department executives including Boonchob Wisetprecha, Cheerakanya Wangcharoenrung, Chonlathit Chaichan, Kongsak Pornphanawan, artist Sakul Intakul, and Jirut Isarangkun Na Ayuthaya, an executive of Siam Piwat.

    The exhibition features:

    1. Commemorative Coin and Medal Exhibition
      A display of more than 40 commemorative coins and medals related to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. These rare pieces carry significant historical value and are presented across three zones:
      • “Phumisiri” Showcasing coins commemorating significant occasions related to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
      • “Siriraj” Featuring coins issued on the occasions of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s birthdays.
      • “Sirikit” Displaying coins commemorating Her Majesty’s royal duties and the honors bestowed upon Her by various countries.
    2. Contemporary Fine Craft Exhibition
      An exhibition of the fine art collection “From Flowers to Jewels: The Auspicious Brooch ‘Siri of Siam’s Heart’ Encircled by Thai Coins” by independent artist Sakul Intakul. The collection transforms the spirit of floral artistry into precious jeweled sculptures, integrating contemporary art with Thai coins presented as “Jewelry Sculptures” to create a modern and internationally appealing image.
    3. Treasury Department Coin Product Fair
      Visitors and collectors can purchase coin products issued by the Treasury Department for various significant occasions, suitable as keepsakes or meaningful gifts.
    4. Live Demonstration of Coin Production
      A special live demonstration offering visitors the opportunity to observe the coin-making process firsthand through presentations by experts, highlighting the artistic and cultural heritage embodied in Thai coinage.

      Sessions: 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, and 5:00 PM

    The Treasury Department invites members of the public, students, coin collectors, and both Thai and international visitors to join in honoring Her Majesty’s royal benevolence and experience the beauty of Thailand’s artistic and cultural heritage as expressed through commemorative coins and medals at the “Sirikasapanasilp” Exhibition.
